…which is why this blog hasn’t been updated in forever! I was sailing in the BVI in December, slipped off of a dinghy dock, and wound up tearing ligaments in my knee and getting a fracture. This all happened on Foxy’s dock, which if you know it, can be challenging at low tide. It then took me 1 day to get help on the island and then I had to leave via a steel ferry…loads of fun (and pain). After making it back to the States 2 days later I began the struggle of just trying to figure out how to get in the house. Long story short - it’s 5 months later and I’m still recouperating, but didn’t need surgery. Oh yeah - almost forgot - had a bi-lateral pulmonary embolism due to not moving much - almost died.

I still haven’t decided which boat to get, but I’ve been lucky enough to have friends with boats to take me out fishing.
I might even wait until the end of summer since its late and I can probably find a better deal then.
My wife is just fine with that since it will probably involve spending less money later

What do you think about this Tracker Nitro 591?
They’re running specials right now (not huge), but I’ve always had great luck with Tracker.
The company builds great boats and most come fully equipped for fishing when delivered.
I’m going to kick it around for a while….
